The Cumbria Floods appeared in every Newspaper, on all TV News Broadcasts and on Radio. On Thursday 19th lots of us used Twitter to share updates and news on the Flooding, it looks like the Newspapers were searching Twitter to see how the news was unfolding and what Twitter users in Cumbria were talking about.
Australian Radio Station 2CC based in Canberra contacted me through Twitter on Sunday evening to ask if I would chat on the telephone for their show to talk about the floods. Quirky Traveller Zoe, her tweet was mentioned in Saturday’s Times, updated her blog using one of my flood photos at Ullswater and gave information on Cumbria Flood Community Fund.

It is definitely not be the worst thing to happen in the world, but it is something that is close to home … and so I care more and want to do more to help.
