Heading home via the Struggle and Kirkstone pass on a very soggy Tuesday I stopped to take some photographs at various locations along the route. It had rained for most of the day and the sky was various shades of grey. The car park at Kirkstone Pass Inn looked busy with cars and driving through Glenridding and Patterdale there were many groups of walkers decked out in their waterproofs trudging along the pavements.
I stopped off a red pit car park just beyond the Kirkstone Pass Inn looking towards to Brothers water, you really get a good sense of the wet weather conditions. I used my Range Rover ( Vogue SE LPG converted) in the photograph with Brothers water in the distance.
Despite the soggy weather the Daffodils at Wordsworth point on Ullswater look lovely, their colour was so vibrant on such a dull, grey day.
