Yesterday’s wet and windy weather conditions made it challenging for everyone. I had difficulty pointing the camera in the wind and trying to keep the lens dry was nigh on impossible. I used the 100 – 400 L lens as it has a long hood which kept some of the rain of the lens enabling [...]

High winds and driving rain made for incredibly challenging conditions out on the shoot today. The met office issued severe weather warning with gusts between 60 – 70 mph. Everyone was in good spirits on the morning’s three drives and battled on through the weather to lunchtime. —–> More photographs to follow tomorrow.

When I took this image on yesterday’s shoot I instantly knew it would look great in black and white. A number of points caught my eye, the alert dog standing in amongst the rough grass, the light bouncing off the water drops and the textures of the dog’s damp coat all worked to pull this [...]

As you can see from the images it was a thick fog today. It started off really wet, the fog made a few attempts to clear but came back twice as thick as before.
