I specialise in photographing field sports and writing about them - all forms of shooting including driven, walked up, rough and clays, private and corporate shoot days, deer stalking, hunting, gamekeepers, people involved with the countryside, farming, game fairs and farm shows.
I write for Shooting Gazette, Shooting Times, Scottish Farmer’s Country Lifestyle Magazine, Scottish Field and I am a columnist for Scottish Gamekeepers Association. My recent magazine features – click here.

Experienced Countryside Photographer – Background
I live rurally in North Fife and travel the UK.
Born in Dysart, Fife, I was brought up around working gun dogs and horses. As a teenager I spent many weekends beating at local Shoots. I started my professional photography career freelancing for specialist magazines photographing a wide range of subjects from off-roading Land Rovers to promotional countryside images before moving on to mainstream news and magazine features. I photographed a wide range of news and features for national press stories and leading women’s magazines and commissions for private and corporate clients. I specialised in Field Sports 5 years ago.
