Airedale fun in the snow

Some more photos from this morning’s walk over the snow covered fields.

Today’s daytime temperatures have stayed around -2°C to -3°C and that’s with full sunshine. I spent a couple of hours out walking with the dogs this morning. It is fascinating to see all the animal tracks in the snow, makes you realise how active our landscapes are at night when we’re tucked up in bed.

I think the snow and the cool air makes animal scents linger longer, we had a couple of severe cases of Airedale deafness this morning, notably Harry *rollseyes* Apparently there are far more interesting things to do than come when called.

These photos were taken with the little pocket Canon ixus. Today’s clothing was a wide variety of winter wardrobe stuff along with hat and 2 pairs of gloves.
