Its combination of location, facilities and character make it an ideal place to work for small businesses in need of a high street location.

Jackie Morrison is the Coordinator for Disabled Persons Housing Service (Fife) and has been based at Law’s close for over 3 years. “Having a high street presence in an approachable community setting was very important for the charity trustees, and business has thrived in the eye-catching setting of Law’s Close.”meeting room

The right sort of location can offer work colleagues so much more than just a place to work, it can be a pleasant space that promotes the health and well-being and getting away from your desk to stretch your legs during the working day. Staff can enjoy the relaxing views over the promenade and sea, with the opportunity to have tea breaks, lunch or working meetings in a beautiful, relaxing garden out the back.” said Jackie.laws_close_kirkcaldy

Taken in Kirkcaldy showing the view across the Forth, Scotland

Inchkeith and choppy seas

Another image from yesterday. This one was taken from the west end of Kirkcaldy promenade looking out into the firth of forth to Inchkeith. The little light we did have during the day was fading fast. Today’s weather is much the same, the chill in the air makes me think of snow.

Weather: promising start then downhill

Kirkcaldy prom looking over to Edinburgh

We’ve had dry weather with some sunshine today but later on the skies became grey and the rain started. Luckily it hasn’t felt cold but once the rain started it made you want to get indoors and light the fire.

I took this photograph just before the rain started on Kirkcaldy promenade looking over the Firth of Forth to Edinburgh.
